The majority of the market will come from the pay-to-download segment, which is forecast to grow from £54 million to £78 million. Of all the 13.2 million UK game downloads in 2007, just 500,000 were ad-supported - but the iPhone 3G led to the download of more than 10 million applications in three days, the search said.
