Virgin, Setanta Take Slice of English Soccer From BSkyB

With the UK’s new football season just a few weeks away, media organizations have been jostling for the best soccer content. Virgin Media and the Football League have formed a partnership to offer on-demand match highlights from League 1 and League 2 games on mobile and the web for up to a week after the final whistle. the two-season deal starts August 11 and extends coverage of the leagues (which sit below the top-tier Premier and Championship leagues) from just the ITV and BSkyB TV deals the Football League enjoyed before. Release.
