As mooted last month Germany’s Federal Cartel Office (BundesKartellamt) has cleared the JV between Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile for a DVB-H service of being a cartel—but it still has to rule on antitrust issues of the venture, and is due to report on that in September. MFD and Neva Media have also formed a JV in Germany to roll out a DVB-H service.
