European Music Download Site Gets $4 Million Funding

(Via AC Euro) Sweden-based and European-focused online music audio and video download site Musicbrigade has received about $4 million in venture funding, from Provider Venture Partners. Founded in 1999, Musicbrigade recently the company expanded to downloading of music video and audio on both web and mobile platforms. It has been providing content to broadband operators(Bredbandsbolaget, Telenor, Chello, Telewest/NTL, a o), portals (Microsoft Windows Media, On-line Spotlight, ao), mobile operators (3, Telenor/Vodafone, a o) as well as the hardware manufacturer Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
Provider gets 28 percent stake in the company for that funding.
