Game Search Engine Wazap Raises $7.9 Million To Promote US Launch

In a bid to launch its game search engine in the US, German-Japanese vertical search engine Wazap has raised $7.9 million in a second round of funding led by Partech International, with participation from Wellington Partners, Venturebeat reports. The start-up has launched in China and plans its US debut next month. The site already claims 11 million unique users a month, with 200 million page views. It logged $1 million in revenue last year, it says.
