Revenues Estimates for Mainstream Content sites in UK:  The Association of Online Publishers in UK has published visitor and revenues share figures for its members, which include BBC, Emap, FT.com, Guardian Unlimited, Haymarket, IPC Media, News International and Reed Business Information. Advertising makes up for 35 percent of revenues, while other popular sources of revenue are: content syndication (13 per cent), subscriptions (14 per cent), sponsorship (12 per cent), recruitment advertising (10 per cent), ecommerce, web design and development, classified advertising, driving print subscriptions, events promotion, and commission on sales.
