UK shopping channel QVC has launched a WAP service that will let people buy goods via their mobile phone: “QVC in your Pocket lets users access the Today’s Special Value (TSV) item, the on-air item, a rolling list of the last 12 items aired on the television and 24 Hour Product Review…Users can search for any of the 15,000 products available on the QVC website by item number. The service can be accessed by texting ‘mobile’ to 80782.”
