Woolworths retail chain in UK has launched an online music preview service that offers legitimate downloads of albums weeks before their release. Entertainment UK, sister company to Woolworths, has teamed up with Universal Music UK and the digital service provider DX3 to provide the download service. The preview service is available across the Woolworths, Streets Online and MVC Web sites.

The digital tracks will expire once the customer has received their hard copy of the album.
